Ain't this weather a real bummer? I worked on this car for two years so
that I could take it to cruises and shows. thus far there have been three that I
was to attend. All three were a wash!

The
weather makes getting the Ardsley show in tomorrow look very iffy.
The rest
of the whole week is also supposed to have thunder storms every
day too.
The following sunday's rain date may be rained out at this
rate. I have
seen many strange things but never the possibility of a
shows rain date
being rained out. Anyway I have to look at the big
picture. I still have
work to be done on the car no matter what. Being
stuck in the house I am
slowly hand painting the individual grill ribs.
After 7 hours over the last
3 days I have 1/4 of them done. Seeing the
final results finally coming
together all I can say is it was worth the
work. It should be finished and
clear coated by the end of next week.
Since the gill is out I will install
an auxiliary trans cooler and an
auxiliary electric cooling fan in front of
  the A/C condenser and an
aluminum radiator over flow bottle to replace the
  cheap plastic after
market on in the car. Being stuck in the house I can
  also cut the dark
smoke American Motors letters for the windshield tinting
  job.
