Charlie my son had one of those fancy chrome and glass fuel filters on
his Javelin and had the same problem. Luckily he didn't have a fire. I
would never use a Fram oil filter as they are junk but with their metal
fuel one's I have never had a problem with. But with 2 in the system and
changing out one every 6 months it works for me.
