I was wondering if there was any "stack" fuel injection for an AMC V8? Did not know if there was any such manifold every made.
If memory
serves me right Clifford offered a direct port mechanical fuel
injection for 6 cyl's in the 60's for racing applications only. They
also had a 3 2bbl Weber side daft carb set up. One bbl for each cyl. I
have heard the 4.0 head and electronic fuel injection system wiring and
all used on 258 6 cyl. I think John Elle in Phoenix runs that feulie
system on a Spirit he drag races.

I remember them. Doc. They sucked. If I wasn't dreaming I think one of the sites that offered the intake manifold for the
6 had a fuel injection system for a 6. I would think you could use one off a late model jeep with an inline 6. Don't know about one for an 8. You said mechanical didn't you. I would guess these are electronic.
