Keep your cell phone on. I am heading to L.I. thismorning.
If memory serves me right Clifford offered a direct port mechanical fuel
injection for 6 cyl's in the 60's for racing applications only. They
also had a 3 2bbl Weber side daft carb set up. One bbl for each cyl. I
have heard the 4.0 head and electronic fuel injection system wiring and
all used on 258 6 cyl. I think John Elle in Phoenix runs that feulie
system on a Spirit he drag races.

I remember them. Doc. They sucked. If I wasn't  dreaming I think one of the sites that offered the intake manifold for the 6 had a fuel injection system for a 6. I would think you could use one off a late model jeep with an inline 6. Don't know about one for an 8. You said mechanical
didn't you. I would guess these are electronic.

Does anyone know if there was a mechanical fuel injection system made
for an AMC motor? Just got thinking about it this afternoon and
wondered.
