Well it probably is stainless but it is dull enough right now to make you think it is aluminum (LOL). Guess I should have bitten it to determine the metal content. (:-P) I will take a couple of photos of the rockers today and put them into my album. As far as the sheet goes, it is a piece of brown waxy paper and the letters appear to be painted on? The paint is graphite in color and textured metallic. At 30 years of age, it will flake off if wiped too hard. I can't tell if the letters are stenciled or not. But it caught my eye when I took the old carpet & padding out yesterday. That showed me just how nice the floor is in this car! It is really factory fresh. Even the plastic plugs look new. ~Lu~ --- In BaadAssGremlins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "Eddie Stakes" <eddiestakes@...> wrote: > > Eh, not sure about aluminum, but stainless, yes, for a whole variety of > years. > http://www.planethoustonamx.com/parts/74_VAM_Gremlin.JPG > my Gremlins I had for sale several years ago, 74 & 76 and had the original > rocker moldings still on it, but not aluminum, just stainless. > > If you have some good photos of the rockers, put them on here. > > On the paper, AMC had a variety of papers one would find in a vehicle, > mostly instructions as the car rolled down the line.
