Ok Ed I understand. But like I said I am old fashioned and after driving
the yellow Hornet for over 32 years and new cars I prefer the old
Saginaw. I would imagine in a race car the weight savings would be worth
the conversion to rack & pinion.

The two main advantage to rack and pinion steering ate
the lighter weight and less moving parts.
