I made a new folder and added today's progress to it. Today I was able to practice painting by painting the roll cage abd interior of the car. The new gun I bought for 107 bucks didn't work right. Hardly any paint would come out no matter what I did with the settings. So I thought maby I mixed the paint improperly(too thick) and that was why, so I swaped to the 25.00 gun I have and painted great. Both guns are HVLP. So tomorrow I will see the paint supply guy and I will ask him what he thinks the problem is. They are having a seminar tomorrow on how to properly wetsand and buff your paint so I will be attending that. I definitly can't paint my car in my garage. Just the little painting in the car got dust particules in it and I cleaned the snot outta the place. I talked to a guy today that has an 1800 sq ft open bay and he said I could paint it there. He does it all the time, wets the floor down and put up a plastic curtain. Met him at the paint supply store today. The 2nd pic is of the right door after applying a thin coat of bondo in a couple spots. Davis ------------------------ Yahoo!
