Doc you starting to scare me.......I like the turn off the key the noise 
stops. However, I have on a few occasions with my AMCs turned the key off 
and damned thing keeps on turning starter! Usually solenoid fried, so 
sometimes turn off key and it keeps yakking like wife too.
