Re: [BaadAssGremlins] I. D. least EXPENSIVE GASOLINE Locations

I think you need to sell me your Spirit for $20 and let me then determine
problem hee hee. I am not entirely sure why I have been getting great gas
mileage on this Eagle. Might be because or four speed, might be driving
habits. I have filled the tank up twice now and written down the mileage
before leaving station and well, when it runs dry and it averages out to
22-23mpg. Without digging too much the 81 NOS color catalogs state the "new
powerteam 2.5 liter four cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission gives a
ePA estimated MPG rating of 22 and a highway estimate of 29"

It also states "use EPA estimates MPG for comparison. Your milage may vary
with speed, weather, trip length. Actual highway will probably be less.
Calif. ests. may vary. The American Eagles for 1981. Experience driving in
the 4th Dimension."

Regardless, it gives my 72 Ambassadot SST wagon with 360/727 a break. I do
not know what the 69 Ambassadot SST with 290/AT gets, and know that my 68
Rebel convertible 'Machine' w 401/904 and 71 SC/360 with 360/4spd both get
in the 9-14mpg range. Sometimes I also dump in a can of Siloo or Chemtool.
Sometimes get stupid and pay $7-$8 a gallon of gas for 98 octane Sonoco
also, hee hee...
