My 390 Ford motor and my 427 Ford motor both have the 352 cast in the block in that position. However the 427 also has 427 cast into the back of the block near the rear cam 'freeze' plug. 'The Mix'

I agree with you Bart. If it is stamped 352 I would think that is what it is. 
It has been a long time since I dealt with Fords but I don't think you could 
tell by looking if it was a 352 or a 390.

some tard dropped a Ford FE 352 big block in that AMX.is it just sitting in there or is it bolted?
