Davis I would not take the chance of using a Dremil for fear of slipping and making gouge marks even though I have a small battery powered one. And about doing another one as Homey "D" Clown on that 90's show "In Living Color" used to say "Homey Don't Play Dat" "Doc" Yahoo! DOc,Couldn't you use your dremmel to sand the ribs? use like a 1K grit ?When you are done I want you to do a grille for meDavis

Sanding each individual rib in the grill has caused the sandpaper to
wear the skin off one of my finger tips. I now have to wrap it with
masking tape and am barely 1/3 done. It looks like it will be the end of
the month before it is done and back in the car. But on a brighter note
when finished it will be as good or probably better than when it was
new. You might even call it over restored.
