Re: [BaadAssGremlins] How to ship to Finland???

Shipping to Finland is no problem, especially with the size of the item you
have. My guess is that it would cost $40-$50 to ship. A suggestion besides
paypal, which I don't do, is have them send you a Western Union transfer in
US funds. That way, you can go get your money any place near you that does
WU. For instance I have been sending items recently to a fellow in Ankara,
Turkey who has a AMX. Same deal, he wires me money, I box stuff up and out
it goes. So far I have estimated it right on the money.

I am not sure however about this front bumper he wants now though. If you
send your covers USPS, my suggestion would be to send it not by air but by
boat, this takes 4-6 weeks, but is cheaper and they always get their stuff.
I have sent items to the following countries in the last 4 months:
Australia, France, Finland, Sweden, Austria to name a few. Some send US cash
to me as it saves fees. If your buyer is comfortable witht hat, tell him to
wrap US cash in envelope and require your signature upon receipt. Otherwise
it is paypal or WU. And be sure to let him know it could take 4-6 weeks to
get item, unless he wants it by air, then a guess would be abuot $60-$95
(again, I am guessing weight on your coers, and length) to get them there
quicker. Most don't mind the wait however. And most also are happier than
hell to find anytying for their AMC muscle car or driver overseas also. If
you think finding crap for your clasic AMC or other is tough in the US, try
being overseas where the odds are stacked against you from when the car was
new.
