I've always used the post office. http://ircalc.usps.gov/. I've shipped small items to both the Netherlands and the UK. The bigger issue in my mind is how do they pay you? You don't want to end up with some sort of money order in foreign currency that you can't cash. I insisted that they pay via PayPal in US dollars. I figure if they want it that bad it's their problem to convert the currency.
