I have dealt with Jeff at Kennedy American for many years and found him
to be honest.But 20$ seems to be on  the ridiculous side to me. I would
mention it to him.

Get this now. I have been in contact with Kennedy American for some
small parts for my Hornet. I finally got a responce from them the other
day and they have what I am looking for and they are resonable with
their price. I've got no bitch about the price of what I am wanting and
that includes the shipping of the item that I am in need of. I told
them about the N.O.S. tail light that I got from my local AMC
dealership, and complained about the tail light strip being painted and
not the original chrome strip that came with the car. He told me that
they would take my N.O.S. tail light, in trade, for one that has the
chrome strip. BUT, for 20 dollars to cover the shipping and that doesnt
include my shipping my light to them. I asked whether or not this tail
light was a N.O.S. or an used O.E.M. light, but I have not heard back
from them on it yet. Probably becuase of the weekend. I had those
lights shipped from Eastern PA and the cost of shipping was 8 bucks for
the pair! Somthing smells fishy. Dont seem right. I do understand that
they are in the buisness to make money, but 20 bucks for shipping?
Anyone else has had dealings like this please feel free to comment. I
could see paying and little bit more for a chrome plastic strip,
whether the light be an N.O.S. or an original O.E.M......Insurance isnt
that much either.... Bill Id.
