I am going to fix the manual choke I installed a while back. It does not
want to fully release and over the weekend I installed the bushing I had
made for the housing and made some special shim washers to eliminate
shaft end play. I also think the lever has moved on the shaft over
center and along with the shaft wobble and end play causes to choke to
not fully release. Just another little pain in the ass thing to work
out. I think I will also install a trans oil cooler while the grill is
out of the car. I made the jig to hold the grill last week but have not
been able to start working on it yet. The wife is on my case as it is in
the living room. I got 2 1/2 months till the Ardsley show to finish the
grill, and all the 77 AMX flairs. I will not have enough time to
re-finish the  rear window louver by the show date. But I am just
keeping on plugging along. When it gets warmer I still have to pull the
inst.. panel and replace the gas gauge and headlight switch. I might
have the car completely done by late fall early winter which will have
made it a 3 year project that is going to be cost almost 4 times what I
originally planned on spending. But what could I get for that amount of
money? A Honda that I could not fit my fat old ass in with a trash can
muffler and some big wheels and rubber band tires and some "Ricer"
graphic's on the windshield and body with blue under body lights. As
Homey De Clown used to say " I Don't Think So" :-)
