AMC used black face on the gauges on Hornet from
70-74 and part of 75 if I recall, although in 74 the numbers changed to flatter
numbers as opposed to the skinny numbrs offer pre-74. I think, not sure that
Gremlin had silver faced gauges thru 78, someone correct me if wrong.

was it is an early model 70-73 then they changed to black face i believe in

in that load of parts I bought from you a while back there was a
Gremlin
gauge cluster. Can you tell me approximately what year it was
from. AMC
changed the ohm rating on the fuel tank sender and I have to
figure out
if I can use the gauge from it in my orange Hornet.
