I think this is the hose you are wondering about??? It controls
the hot coolant flow to the heater core. Left picture shows blue tape on the
hose as it is attached to the heater valve that is screwed into the intake
manifold and right picture shows it under the dash hooked to the heater box
control. If this does not look like it, call me and I can get more info from you
