I checked his/her list of items and ALL the AMC radios have had
'NOS' removed and 'replacement' subsituted. Not so for the Ford
and other maker radios. Maybe he/she is only 'NOT' scared of us
AMCers. ;)

My latest reply, since he/she asked my view on the changes,
is as follows:

"OK, since you asked, I'll go along as if you DON'T intend to
mislead people and give a fair review of the ad text: The
title fix is great, though you might add 'NIB' where 'NOS'
was, to inform folks it's New In the Box. As for the details,
they still mislead. Here's how it should read: 'Vintage RCA
aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette head unit, (other features), brand
new in box (additional description), fits many vehicles of
the 60s, 70s and 80s. I will include with your purchase a
custom decal depicting the auto maker of your choice, including
AMC, Ford, (etc), to affix to the front of the unit after
installation for a 'factory-type' appearance. (additional
payment, shipping and other details)'. That would be the proper
way to sell these, not by making believe you don't know any
better. If you genuinely want to do right by the bidders, then
I commend that and am sorry for coming down so hard on you. I
just don't like to see folks getting screwed over. Good luck
with the revised sales."

Let's see what that olive branch gets us.
