Title: Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Gremlin For Sale in Southeast Nebraska
The Bel Air was a true barn find about ten years ago. Truly. I bought it at the estate auction, and there was straw around the tires. Had kind of a barn smell for a couple years too. Green interior with lots of chrome and very nice original seats and door panels. Rare one year only "Sungold" paint, white top and BelAir stripe. Stovebolt 235 six, Powerglide, and very rare in 1953 factory power steering and it works. Front clip was repainted a long, long, time ago. Otherwise factory original paint, but faded and thin in spots. Small rusted out area on drivers side toe boards. Floors, rockers, trunk, skirts, quarters, all good. Some electrical glitches. Always adult owned and unmolested. I have replaced brakes, including new master cylinder. I would drive this car anywhere--at a moderate speed. Some extra parts go with. I want $3500 but will consider "money in hand" offers from someone actually looking at the car.
