Oh, ok, I simply saw the subject with police
javelin rust issues in it and thought you sent wrong ones! As for 1980, there
were only 865 1980 AMXs made, they were given the axe early in production, along
with the Pacer. Ironically, enough Pacers languished around the whole calender
year that 111 were sold as 1981 models. There is a lady locally that lives in a
big ass mansion here in Houston I have been trying to buy her 81 Pacer since
the md 80s. Won't sell it and not sure why. I wrote a article for AMO many
years ago about this car with some neat photos of it.
