Yup it might, but not 'stock'. The 78 kakhi one I had was about 3400 lbs. And yes, it was extremely quick, even a lot of the hardcore AMX guys locally were confused, and several said AMC never made a Pacer with a V8, so had to lurn them. Two actually went out and bought Pacers afterwrds, sort of converted them. There are Pacers I have seen run 10s/11s but heavily modified.

Eddie, I bet Phil's Pacer Wagon would run in the 13's. It is pretty amazing considering they were really design for a rotary engine.
