[BaadAssGremlins] 401 rebuild advise wanted

INFORMATION WANTED, I'M REBUILDING A 401 MOTOR AND WHEN I WENT TO INSTALL 
THE MAIN BEARINGS THE REAR THRUST BEARING IS TO WIDE FOR THE CRANK AND 
BLOCK. THEY SAID I HAVE THE RIGHT KIT CLEVIT #MS-1041-P. MY BLOCK # IS 
3198951. THEY TELL ME IT Ws from a 1977 wagoneer. need help from someone
