Well the gauge panel fits. It sure looks nice with the factory water temp, gas gauge and speedo needles painted the day glow orange to match the tac's needle. I did not go in without a fight but fits nice. You have to imagine trying to fit 30+ year old plastic parts from 4-5 different cars together. Each though looking like new has its own little slight warp or twist in it that is invisible until you put them all together and then they become apparent. Such is my case and you all know what a pain I am about fit and detail. I had to elongate the bolt hole in the hand brake bracket that bolts to the metal part of the dash frame and also shim it. To force the bolt in and tighten it cause the dash frame to warp and the gauge panel would not fit properly. It also probably would have made the dash crack from stress some where from driving the car. One more little tweak done. Today I will wire the tack up and paint the package tray brackets. The last piece of the dash to install is the package tray with the factory gauge pod. I am actually closing on completion of this interior job after almost 8 months actual work and 2 years of chasing replacement part for the ones I could not repair and making new ones. Now if I could only get the upholstery guy to do the !@#$%^& 2 bucket seats. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo!
