My 'Mommie' called this morning, asking that I run down to her
house
as my sister had given her a computer monitor, and Mom didn't know
how to hook it up. Turns out mom has a 15" CRT and sis upgraded to a
19" LCD, so she didn't need the 'old' 17" LCD (with a late 2004 build
date).
Well, Mom's system is ancient, and sure enough, something
about her
video card refused to allow the display to sync up. After an
hour of
battle, we surrendered...and Mom tossed the 17" LCD to me to try
at
home. Result?
A free 17" LCD to replace my 17" CRT....so I have
lots of space on the
desktop and you all are a bit further away from
me....but y'all look
sharp! My 17" CRT now replaces my wife's 15"
CRT.
