Who say's parts are hard to find? While working on the rust spot on the drivers side floor I noticed the high beam switch was badly rusted which accounts for it the stiff operation although it did work. A fast call to the local auto parts store and he had one in stock and I told him to get me another one for the yellow car since they were still available. That was friday and I got them first thing monday morning. 8$ a piece, mechanic's price and no tax. In the last 9 years of working on both of these Hornets only twice I was not able to get a mechanical part I needed from this store and that was a brake booster and a fuel tank senders for the both cars. And I have rebuilt the front ends the brakes, rears and even got NEW gas tanks for both cars. I must be spoiled when I hear of people having such problems finding parts and can't understand why, I have no problems. Now to try and trouble shoot the gas gauge wiring before the new carpet goes in. I hate messing with wiring. My last items of annoyance to fix is the gas gauge and inst. lights. Going to have decent weather all week for a change. :-) "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo! Groups.
