Terry I would not pass up the 44$ room versus the 104$ one, especially
since it is so close. The host hotel is just to probably register and to
hang out for the usual bull session with fellow AMC'ers and maybe it has
a bar for that and maybe they will also have the awards dinner there.
The 44$ one gets my vote.

No Doc I would never leave him in the parking lot. I got out my pictures that I took when I went to St. Louis and have 5 or 6 maybe more of pictures of AMC's in the parking lot. I remember telling my kids how silly that was. I have so little of a life I am getting fired up about the AMO-Nationals next year in Dayton. I think the Gremmie can make the 150 mile trip. Already had problems with the hotel. Called them once and they said call the next week. I called the next week and they acted like they never heard of the AMO nationals and wanted to book me a room for $149 a night. I called back a couple of days later they had heard of it but still wanted $104 a night for the room. Don't know about you guys but I am a poor boy from Louisville. I found an Econo-lodge two miles from the host motel and the park for $44.00. Is there that much that happens at the host motel that I should try and stay there or will this one do. When I went to St. Louis it was a last minute thing and I th ink we stayed at a motel 10 miles from the site.
