Originally louvers were sold thur J. C. Whitney, even up until a few years ago they listed them for
1969-84 Gremlin
As with everythign with JC, they strrrrrrrreeeeeeeecccccchhhhhttttt they year base some like 1966 thru 1978 AMX or 1967 thru 1976 Javelin.
 
I am not sure who their supplier was.

Yes someone did make them.  Not sure who though.  I acquired rear louvers from a friend of mine a few years ago.  They are plastic.  Only rear louvers for a Gremlin I have ever seen!
