Hi Harold,
Why would the shipping be high? The Cross member weighs about 20 pounds 
maybe and is not really that big. Might cost about $15 to ship anywhere 
in the US with Fedex. I know this because I once went up to Roseville 
California to pick up one from the J&W auto wreckers. I rented a Ford 
F150 thinking it was going to be some big thing. It was actually kind 
of funny with that little piece of metal sitting in the middle of that 
big bed. I don't know why everyone thinks shipping stuff is so 
expensive. If you use Fedex, it is never that much.

ps. Harold, sorry if I went on a little bit but I am tired of the 
people on Ebay charging huge shipping rates which they pretty much 
pocket. I also sell stuff on Ebay and I charge actual shipping.
