Ha ha ha, i met Dennis Gage of My Classi Car several times, at Kenosha one year and another year at St. Louis nationals in 99. Real nice down to earth fellow, but someone shoot me if I ever start wearing my pants up around my tiddies like a 80 year old man! There was enough wax in that moustach to make a few candles. But he is a really nice fellow if you ever get to meet him, real down to earth, and well, likes AMC cars that is why they even get exposure on that show. Ya'll take care down there in FL, MS, AL, as while that storm has dropped to 125mph winds as I write this, but people many times get complacent and think 'well I been thru one or two' and I assure you, I have been thru 8 of them, and countless depressions, storms, each one is different and you never know, like those folks in Punta Gorda FL last year, http://www.hurricanetrack.com/jpegs/charleybig.jpg all the forecast said it was not going to even be near them, and would hit Tampa, but it veered towards them and they were mostly unprepared and 12 people died and countless destruction from direct hit. I didn't fully understand the NASA decision to not move the shuttle, to me, that send the wrong message. Even if on opposite side of state! You would think that even as we are STILL picking up peices of space shuttle Columbia, and crew, right north of me here, they would err on the side of caution!! Here is a interesting GOES NOAA image: http://www.goes.noaa.gov/browsh.html And here is Ivan, of which those poor bastards are still trying to rebuild, and Dennis is expected to hit same damned area: http://www.hurricanetrack.com/jpegs/ivanposter.jpg Jeanne, which was one of the most powerful and the eye came ashore less than 5 miles from earlier hurricane: http://www.hurricanetrack.com/jpegs/jeanneposter3large.jpg Which was Francis: http://www.hurricanetrack.com/posters/treasurecoastlandfall.html Here is the main website: http://www.hurricanetrack.com/ I had a fellow who just won a ebay auction off me today call, as he lives in Biloxi, MS and he said he was getting the hell out of there, he said he would 'take his chances with flooding in Tennessee' as opposed to getting possibly walloped by a hurricane, as he said he has been thru many the past 50 years and he mentioned one that hit that area and caused much destruction, and for the like of me, can't remember it's name, possibly Audrey? So ya'll take care ansd shelter.
