Welcome Al, hey, Bart mentioned a few weeks ago
about Playing Mantis going to release a 72 Gremlin. I just got a call from
Robert Ragan at RC which bought out PM recently and they are supposed to give me
a call next week concerning some photos I have of race Gremlins, as they also
want to do some more 68-69 AMXs also. I told him if they ever got the box of
shit I sent them a year ago, they did, big box of photos, brochures, postcards,
and all sorts of Javelin.....and Gremlin and Hornet stuff. The Gremlin had the
best chance of being produced as they like to maximize the mold, that is, get as
many configurations of the mold as possible, like colors, paint schemes, decals
and such.
I know some of you have some nice looking Gremlins
here, possibly you can send them your photos also, 1970-73 only (as the car is
supposed to be officially a 72 Gremlin, but don't be surprised if they stretch
the years to make more). Under the "parts" file of my website, there is the
'your car is the star' program also.
Hopefully JL or Racing Champs or whoever they are
now are will start sending me cases of new releases again from China, hee
hee.
