| My 88 Eagle has a factory three core radiator also,
I like the extra rows on many of my AMCs, as if you have ever been stuck in
Houston traffic, nuff said. I also run electric fans on most of my cars, you can
get the small Hyundai fans for about $5 each at pick a parts, real easy to
install also, and watch the temp gauge drop when stuck on I-10 on a day like
today when it is 96 degrees.......

I thought so too, but when I pulled my factory V8 rad it was only a two row core. I paid
extra for the heavy duty cooling system (according to my window sticker).
I've got a three row core rad in there now. I think it's better to be safe
    than sorry.   'The Mix'  -----Original

That is my thought also, Doc. At least that is what they told me when I

Bill so long as it is out of an A/C car you should have one big
enough. Up in "The Falls " all I run is a 160 and I am warm enough. Hal

 repainted, I'll be reinstalling everything
        including
replacing the outside AC coils as well as the
        radiator
as both are pretty much shot.  I'd like to get a
        heavy
duty radiator to handle the Texas summer heat so
        was
 thinking of doing a V8
        radiator.  Are the hose fitting
locations for a V8 cylinder radiator the same as
        for
the six?  Also, I picked up a 160 degree thermostat
 but
am wondering if that might be just a bit too
 cool....?

 Any
        suggestions on radiator
        size?

 Thanks.
