[BaadAssGremlins] Re; INDY heads from Parts Limited...WRONG valve springs...m...

I agree with Bart here, regardless of 'positive feedbacks' one may have, some high ticket items are best left to store or personal purchases. There is countless cases of fraud on computers on ebay, whereas one fellow had a 5000+ feedback, and well, people trusted him, one day he went bad and ripped people off for more than a quarter million dollars before ebay shut him down and noted authorities. I don't remember what happened in that case, believe it was out of Reno, NV.

Carpet kits come to mind off ebay too, as carpet kits shrink, depending on how they are stored. And I guarantee you that carpet kits are not flying off the shelves for any AMC model, popular or unpopular, this is why for years I tell people to have it done locally. Done locally, if there is a problem you can take it back. If bought off ebay, you will have to pull it up, pads, carpet, glue, rebox it, ship it and then only pray the seller will give you a refund or even reply.

The sole reason I quit stocking carpet kits in the 1990s was that carpet can sit in a warehouse exposed to heat, humidity, cold, all sorts of conditions. Again, they shrink and you won't find out until you try to install it. Some vendors however like Kennedy have it cut fresh, sort of like burgers. At some places here in Houston, they won't make your burger until you order it. Now what the hell am I talking about food dammit, where was I. Oh, carpets. But Jeff will have his supplier make one when you order it, might take two weeks but at least it is fresh, and ready to install and no mysterious shortages or pieces falling out like mange. Good luck with the carpets and Joe, good luck with the Parts Limited place, boy, you have your work cut out for you. Personally I would send the whole shitload of stuff back, Delivery Confirmation, Signature Confirmation and ask for a full unconditional refund.

That's why i wouldn't buy an expensive part off evilbay.IMHO you should've bought from a reputable AMC parts dealer as it sounds like this dude just buys the stuff and try and rake in the dough by selling it for much more on ebay.I hope all will pan out for ya.
