One of my customers a local shop owner is trying to rid himself of his
Amc stuff.  He has a rebuilt 390 that has been sitting on an engine
stand for about 15years(has all the receipts), 2 r4b intakes, brand new
supposed to be a little better than stock torque converter for a bw
trans, nos v8 engine crossmember for Hornet which is really what I
want, v8 trans crossmember, various spare parts for Gremlins and
Hornets not sure exactly what yet, a couple of cases of amc engine paint
(probably no good after all these years anyway), some original shop
manuals, and a amc 20 posi rear for a Hornet.  He has offered this
package deal to me for $2000.00 Maybe I am a little cheap but it sounds
a little high, maybe not if the motor had a fresh rebuild, but sitting
15years it is gonna need to be torn down and checked and relubricated
and so forth.  Jus asking for any opinions on if his price is actually
reasonable or not   thanks
is it a 70 390?if so its worth it also is it 2K firm or maybe if you showed him 1500$ cold hard cash he'd bite ? they say money talks.
