Bart, I'm not sure where everyone is at. I did have some emails from people
who for whatever reason, were mystified (among other things) that the new forum
crashed, then mysteriously not only are a number of people seem to be gone, but
all the posts about Bursaws and those that people had vented their anger fromt
he forum.net shutdown. I expressed my opinion about it all in the 'good guy/bad
guy' file, under 'revisited' where I asked a number of questions, mostly from
people who for whatever reason have emailed me saying they don't want to post,
or won't join, or think something fishy, whether all the moderators, or
disappearing threads, just a number of things people brogut up to me, of which I
had noticed a few myself, but none of it bothered me until I start getting all
these roswell emails.
I'm perplexed on the 'members' part, as if you cleick on the 'members' of
the new forum, it shows 350 people, but over 70% of them are zero posts, you
would think that at least they would stop in and say hi in the first posts? Or
where those emails gleened from the old forum.net website?
Ironically that before the new forum crashed, there was a thread of 'where
is eddie stakes' in the general chat. I was not signed up, too angry still from
the biggest f*cking AMC "war" I have ever seen in 30+ years fooling with AMC.
But someone had indeed signed me up as a member. It was not me either, and I was
surprised to see my name in there as a member whn I had nothing to do with it. I
wanted to watch......and wait......until all the dust settled from the
Bursaw/Carpio mess.
To me it is sad that all those posts that everyone was allowed to vent
their anger are suddenly gone. The reason why is that to some, it is therapy.
Granted, not everyone wants to rehash it, or remember it! However, you just
don't suddenly tear the pages of Vietnam out of history books because you don't
agree with it either.
