[BaadAssGremlins] Camshaft reccomendations for 401 in my Gremlin...Ron , Davis...Gonzo...LONG one

Ok. Ron Hallack,Davis,Steve(Gonzo)...Gremlin guys. I
HAVE to send my cam specs before they will ship my new
INDY heads! Dont have a cam installed yet!! I called
ISKY today. Asked for a reccomendation for my 401. All
he said was to use their 280Mega cam.It's a 517
lift/280 duration(233@50) single pattern cam. It is
108 degree centerline. He said it is 2500-6500
rpm....float at 6800 They would need to grind
one...out of stock right now.Gave him all my
engine/car specs..EXCEPT he didnt "NEED" to know my
rear axle ratio?? He also said...no difference in cam
suggestion from INDY or "regular cast iron "  AMC
heads??????..What the @#^%^$?? The cam seems a little
small?It's a 401 bored over .040 =(409cid?). Speed pro
L2380F pistons. INDY SR head kit... (2.10 intake/1.650
Ex...61CC chambers).ROL racing head gaskets.Will end
up at 9.6/1 compression.I have Hooker 1 3/4" Super
Comp headers,TCI 2500 stall convertor.Edelbrock
Air-Gap intake.I will either use a 750 Carter
competition series AFB(have one already), or a 800
Edelbrock AVS Thunder carb.I "think" the car weighs
around 2900 lbs with AT and ps and AC??????? Can
anyone verify a 1972 Gremlin weight? I HAVE three cams
here in my stash..First one : custom ground COMP
cam..513Intake lift / 515 Exhaust lift...283I/288E
duration (231/237)@50 with 108 centerline. Seems
almost like the isky  suggestion? Unless the valve
timing is different???Second cam is a General Kinetics
 496/521 lift with 282/292 duration(224/243
@50..BUT..114 lobe centerline. Dont know the rpm range
or idle characteristics. Third one i have is a Crane
Commander..now...i "think" (need the specs from Nick)
it's a 563 Intake lift with 548 exhaust lift with 312
/ 308 advertised duration. RPM range...3000-6500???
Should be a radical idle. WHAT about a COMP 292H 
Magnum? SOOOO anyone have a suggestion??I'm going to
run either 3.55 or 3.91 gears.I am going to DRIVE it
and race on weekends!! Rough idle will not bother me
at all...i just want smokin results! I will sell all
these new cams if i can get the right one i need.
