Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Re: Gremlin stuff n Parting progress

In the past 26 years I always bought old mid 70's GM's for beaters. My
latest one I have had for 7 years. The orange car I got screwed out of 4
years previous to buying it. I was looking for about 2-2 1/2 years for
an AMC as it's eventual replacement for the Chevy with no luck. The
orange car became available one sat. afternoon and I bought it. I
decided this time I wanted an AMC as a daily driver. Granted it has cost
me big bucks to repair, but what cookie cutter car could I get for what
the Hornet costs me to rebuild. 4 doors of any brand, front wheel drive
and Ricers are not my thing. Besides the 74 Hatchback is my favorite car
so I didn't have to end up settling for somthing.

Now see how we all rationalise ...........  We all have our reasons why we need that next AMC. I have had to pass up on a really nice spirit with a v-8 cross and mounts. 500 for everything. I could flip it and atleast double my money but I have no room for it till I part out the hornet and fix n sell the 89 dakota. I will see if it is still available when I get to that point and mabe I can save another one and kep my other projects funded.

The reason I bought the second Hornet was for a daily driver to replace my Chebby instead of buying a front wheel drive cookie cutter 4 door sedan that I could not fit my fat A$$ into.
