The cure for the proper pedal height is a power brake booster pedal.
That's why in the dealer conversion kit it has a replacement pedal. I
have heard of people cutting and notching the pedal and welding it up to
get the proper pedal height, but that is not me. Also there is an
adjustment on the rod between the booster and master but that is for
pedal height and effects brake system pressure if you have the right
pedal. If you try to adjust the pedal to far up with this the brakes
will lock up and not release. This is all from personal experience on my
yellow 74 Hornet. I been wrenching on this car for 31 years.

Don't know but on my 3spd 74 Gremlin I put a power boost system and didn't change the pedal. The only problem is how do you adjust the pedal height??

I can't say for sure but i'd say there is a good chance the drum power
brake pedal will work with the disc power brake booster. Pop it in and
look to see if the pedal hole lines up with the booster rod hole. There
is somthing to do with leverage that makes the pedals different between
manual and power.

Well the Gremlin has a power (wider) brake pedal from the 4-drum
power brakes that it came with from the factory. Will that one work
with the disc brake booster?~Lu~
