I have been there and done that. It isn't an easy task but you did a great
job.
By the way, just a couple more screws removed from the firewall
wiring harness plug and you could have removed it as a unit. It plugs into
the wiring harness under the dash. I pulled mine out and stretched it
across the garage floor. With a little soapy water and a lot of paper towels I
had it looking like new.
