Am I banned yet? Seriously, and this Bart will be my only (promise) comment
on this subject. If anyone wants to read why I and many other left that amc-list
years ago, one only has to click on the front page of my website and scroll down
to the bottom where, uh, catfish feed. And there is a explanation, been there
since I left, no big deal.
And Bart, I commonly send people to yuor site here as you have a really
good group of people. And you are not afraid to step in and throw a world's
fastest lawn ornament at them or flamingo or crankshaft. That is what all lists
and forums need or you have anarchy. And not only do many good people leave,
others won't post and youngsters will move on to friendlier places. No amount of
abuse is worth it.
Doc had a interesting comment about how he has listenened to abuse for his
choice of car for decades. Think about that one sentence from (no offense Doc!)
someone who is probably one of what I would like to call a 'elder statesman' not
only on Bart's list, but the amc-list. How many people can brag they are
original owner of a American Motors car bought brand new? And how many of them
are going to take time to bother to join any online forum? About as many as 69
AMXs that were painted Ascot Grey.
