[BaadAssGremlins] Eagle question

Ok, I lied, one more before I call it a long day. Someone posted on my 
"message boards" on my website this question and possibly someone here can 
answer it:

Question: Can one tell me why you must replace the lower control arm when 
replacing the lower ball joint on any 80-on Eagle. This is stated in the AMC
