Woah, Nelly! The 360 option for the Hornet ended with the 1974 model. The 304 was the top V8 after that, be it AMX or non-AMX, while 360s were reserved for Matadors only. John -----Original Message----- From: Eddie Stakes [mailto:eddiestakes@xxxx] There is nothing on the body door tag to ID the vehicle as a Hornet AMX either. So yes, a car could easily be turned into a Hornet AMX if one wanted as Doc mentioned. I don't see it happening however as there is no market for them. While a 360V8 was a option, it was NOT, repeat, NOT a option for Hornet AMX. Neither was a four speed, nor three speed with V8. Only the trusty, 232-6, 258-6 and 304V8 were available for the Hornet AMX, and the 304 only came with AT/column and AT/floor darn it.
