As bad as them Vegas rusted you'd swear that they dipped them in salt water before assembling them. My friends wife is on her 5th car since we both bought new cars in 74, she bought a Vega and I bought my yellow Hornet. The Vega is long gone, I drive the Hornet almost every day.
