Window regulators are usually shot on junk yard doors. Especially the later cars as they made the teeth on the regulator finer and they wear out faster on the last 2 inches from the end when the window is rolled up. They also pop rivet the regulators in on the later cars too.On my yellow car I greased the regulator from the time it was new and it lasted 25 years. I replaced it with a regulator believe it or not out of a 79 4 door Concord and that lasted 4 years before going bad. I got one from Rick a few months ago from his parts Gremlin. I now have Gremlin, Concord and Spirit parts in my yellow Hornet. "Doc"
