I am not sure about Spirit disc brakes as I can only coment on brakes
from an 82 Spirit that I parted out compared to the 79 Concord ones I
also have. The rotors appear to be smaller and the calipers seem
lighter/cheaper looking than the Concord's. I would say the Spirit
ones on the 82 are for a 4-6 cyl car only.

I helped Travis recently find a AMX and he wishes to upgrade the brakes, but the years in 80s is out of my league, possibly some of you here can comment? Please copy your reply to Travis also if replying and thanks in advanceto all who may reply.

Hello Eddie, I have put my parents two spirits in ads and I believe we almost have them sold. Thank you so much for the help, I wanted to ask you if the brakes would fit my 69 AMX. I know in past emails you explained the 72 and up disc brakes worked well from javelins, matadors and gremlins but would they fit from an 80 and 81 spirit?
