New 72 Gremlin got hit...won trophy anyway!!

Rough..but good AMC day. Wife was behind me in her 74
AMX. I was in my new 72 Gremmie,on the way to a
MOPAR/AMC show on Sunday. She pulled over so i turned
on my signal to turn around to see what was up.I
stopped in my lane at an intersection on the
highway,waiting for for traffic. Looked up in my
mirror...HOLLY SHITTTTTT.... a black GM full-size 4X4
truck was almost onto me (about two lengths away)...at
full highway speed!!! Floored the old 232, cranked the
wheels to left...then...WHAM!! Knocked me alittle ways
sideways . Damn truck slightly hit brakes after
hitting me then floored it to get away. I ran to
center of highway..FLIPPED THEM OFF profusley!!!!! Too
bad i don't have the 401 yet!!!! LUCKILY...it only
caught the corner of my rear bumper..rubbed black from
the fat 4x4 tires..or bumper onto my bumper without
denting it. Scared the shit out of me!!!!!
Anyway...after i calmed down alot...we made it to the
show...i won a 2 1/2 foot tall trophy!!!! Wife's AMX
received a nice large plaque. Rough start to the
day...GREAT ending!! Sorry to type so long , joe
