Re: rim tip

Speaking of rims, this is a neat tip I learned int he 1980s when I was still wearing KISS boots and leisure shirts. Whenever you are going to go to a swap meet, and might be looking for rims, before you go, take a small piece of cardboard, and hold it up behind a AMC rim you have at the house, drawing thru it with a pen or pencil, including the middle hole. This way, when you go to the meet and see a nice set of Magnum 500 chrome rims, or other rims made by Detroit Wheel (AMC, Mopar and Ford used these rims) you can simply hold your little cardboard behind the rim to see if same bolt pattern. This will keep you from buying a wrong set of rims with no chance of refund. Good luck,
