Modern tech. such as fuel injection and high reveing single and double
overhead cams on small displacement engines along with computers make 1
Hp per Cu. In. common place today. That same tech. also makes a 35$
repair 25-30 years ago makes it a 1,000$ repair now in 2004. Give me
old that I can fix myself anyday. Sorry i'm lost in the early to mid
70's and to old to change now.

Bart, Your right of course. But that wasn't the point, I just thought we all used to marvel if a stock engine could produce one hp per cubic inch. Used to be only a Vette or 'muscle car' could pull those numbers, but now even my wife's BAJA gets 165 hp out of 151 cid's.          'The Mix'
