I am not familiar with that N.Y. town. It has to be north of me I am
right on the N.Y. City line. I hope the Matty finds a nice home. The
shipping price seems reasonable too. To bad you couldn't ship both cars
on the same truck like you said. Thanks for the kind thoughts about the
show here. I am doing what I can to make it a nice event. My friend and
his wife who are doing all the work is not on line and I doing that part
for them. His cousin used to do that for him but like I said he was one
of the guys that put on the Albany show the last few years and is not
interested in that or the Ardsley show. His loss. Since my health is
poor and I can't make the Ct. show this year after going 4 years
straight I figured I'd help get this one off the ground as it is only 15
min. from where I live and not a problem to attend. The Ct show was a 85
mile drive one way and I am just not up to that no more.

Doc, I have a AMC fan who is interested in buying my 71 Matador on ebay, and
asked me for shipping/transport costs up there, and I just got off the phone
with CDI of Houston and they quoted me $795, not bad when you consider the
high costs of gas in some locales, much less on a big transport truck. I
guess it will be wait and see. The AMC fan is located in Walton, NY. The
other 74 green Matador will be going to Brockton, MA. I asked CDI if both
could be shipped up same time they said no, as sometime they do that but the
74 is on standby until they fil up a whole truck and then put the big froggy
Matador on it. Here is to a good turnout at ya'lls meet up there.

Here are the 2 Motel/Hotel's I recomend. Both are right off the Yonkers
Exit of Rt.87 and across the street from each other and 15 min from the
show location. Royal Regency Hotel, 165 Tuckahoe Road, Yonkers, New
York. 914-476-6200 Toll free no# 1-800-215-3858. The other one is the
Holday Inn, 125 Tuckahoe Road, Yonkers, New York 914-476-3800 Toll free
no# 1-800-465-4329. I recomend the Royal Regency as it has a huge big
flat parking area. The Holiday Inn across the street is on top of a big
hill and it's been years since I was up there so I cannot comment on
parking. I drive past the Regency every day when  go out. I'll have to
find out the exact no# of the exit on the NYS Thruway Rt#87 as they are
both right there.
