I remember Cox they made a lot of gas powered toys back in the early
60's. I think my first gas powered fly by wire model plane was made by
them. I guess I am showing my age now?

No, Doc, those were made by Cox, not Kenner, and
were powered by "gas"...like R/C aircraft. I think
some MIGHT have been battery powered, too? I think
there were two versions, battery and gas.
Anyway, there were two models, the police car, and
the race car. Got that part right. :) Both bring
pretty high prices on Ebay these days, just saw a race
version with a beautiful box sell for $152 or
something like that. Still, the Matador is a "4
door"..LOL. I ain't spending that kind of money on a
Matador 4-door car. LOL. J/k, I do sometimes. Anyway,
that's all I have to say.
