Doc, whenever you get one of those letters supposedly from Ebay or Paypal, or Citibank, or whoever, informing you that you need to UPDATE, or whatever the immediate cause is (and watch out on the PayPal ones with attachments, THAT IS A NETSKY VIRUS, DO NOT OPEN!!) but whenever any of you get some crap like that, simply FORWARD it to spoof@xxxx or spoof@xxxx of wherever the letter allegedly came from. This way, Ebay or whoever the company that is getting spoofed can quickly shut it down at it's source hopefully before anyone is stupid enough to fill in all their bank info, SS # and what not, but it helps everyone to simply forward it to spoof@xxxx Good luck, Eddie Stakes www.planethoustonamx.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "amc74hornet" <amc74hornet@xxxx> To: <BaadAssGremlins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, March 27, 2004 3:09 PM Subject: [BaadAssGremlins] Speaking Of Scams I just got one as I was reading Eddie's post. It was supposedly from ebay saying if I didn't confirm my account info my account would be suspeneded. I just deleted it. "Doc" Yahoo! Groups Links
